Our commitment to lasting values

resources to do so, we have to accept the issue of sustainability as a central challenge. For us, this term is not only associated with the careful use of resources, which helps to reduce the burden on our environment. Sustainability, as we understand it, also encompasses ethical and social values that must be lived out through responsible action.

To integrate these important concerns into our business activities, we take action at numerous levels, ranging from the use of reusable materials to sustainable procurement. Together with our suppliers, for example, we act in accordance with a strict "Code of Conduct" which, in addition to environmental protection, also includes such important aspects as employee rights, fair competition and anti-corruption.

EcoVadis

Sustainability is a goal that continuously requires fresh efforts. In order to review our successes in our endeavours, but also to receive new impulses, we consciously expose ourselves to external scrutiny. We are therefore all the more pleased to have been awarded a silver medal for our results six times in a row (most recently in 2023) as part of the annual sustainability assessment report by EcoVadis. The methodology used by EcoVadis assesses sustainability performance in the areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. A total of 21 sustainability criteria are used, ranging from energy consumption and greenhouse gases to employee health and safety.

Solutions with system

How a resource-saving approach can be combined with high flexibility and efficiency is demonstrated by the use of modern system solutions. Our SPACE 4d room concept makes it possible to flexibly combine components over and over again. This allows a variety of design options and at the same time noticeably reduces the need for materials and resources.
